Z-28 Valve Cover?

Can anyone ID a fined aluminum valve cover #P 3 32418 C2 CLC? Non dripper. Was told it is a one year only for a 69 Z.

Bruce, you are correct. That is a one year only factory valve cover that was factory installed on all 1969 Z28's. From 1970 on, all of the aluminum finned valve covers were cast with drippers.

The original part numbers were 3932415 (LH) and 3932416 (RH). These valve covers had no drippers inside and were cast with either the part number inside, or 3932417 (LH) and 3932418 (RH). Note that these were also used on the 1969 Corvette with high performance 350/350 engines.

Late 69 Z/28's had drippers with the same casting as the 70 Z/28.
P - 3932417 - LH C-1 CBC
P - 3965543 - LH
P - 3965544 - RH
