Edelbrock 2703 intake and PVC canister in motor conflict?

For those who have the early 327 with the PCV canister in lifter valley, does that hit the Edelbrock 2703 intake manifold causing it not to sit flush with rear china wall of motor?

I used the 2703 on my original 350 with no issues. I do still have the pvc canister in the valley too.

Re: Edelbrock 2703 intake and PVC canister in motor conflict?

Thanks

When I dry fitted the 2703 it did sit flush. I have a oil leak I suspected was from rear china wall so I replaced the gasket again (used RTV on china walls) and leak is still there. It comes down mostly on DS of motor, rear but migrates down bellhousing to tranny pan

I also tightened the lose PCV fitting and even used a bead of RTV to seal it as it was lose which is what I suspected was leak source. Not it either.

Oil pressure sender does not appear to be source either nor valve cover gasket

I have a oil dye kit I will use to try and pinpoint leak source. Running my fingers on back of intake and along valve covers comes up dry

Distributor shaft gasket is also new

It's not a RMS leak
