Re: super sucker ?

I read that as the Super Soaker as in water gun. 😕

But looking it up it seems interesting. Tagging in for discussion.

Re: super sucker ?

I heard a lot of guys back in the day swore by them...I have used spacers over the years but can't say how "great" they were.

Testing is the only "real" answer.
The only "spacer" that I can say 100% made a difference had 2 solenoids and a bar down the middle
flat tire likes this.

Re: super sucker ?

The shape of the spacer, like a turtle in the bottom of the intake, may or may not help depending upon your cam and induction mods. Aside from a lot of quality time at the strip; wet flow bench testing your top end combination (head, intake manifold with and without turtles, as well as the super sucker) would also yield good data. But once again changing any thing would need more testing to see how it affected flow.

Unless you were running a pro class I doubt if it (the testing) would be worth the effort or expense. Time and effort would be better spent working on consistency and improving sixty foot times rather than peak horsepower.
