Mechanical fuel pump diaphragm

In another thread about ethanol fuel additives being used and its effect on a Holley excelerator pump diaphragm, it made me wonder if ethanol had any effect on the mechanical fuel pump diaphragm.

Does it?

Re: Mechanical fuel pump diaphragm

That helped. Thanks. I can say though that my lawn mowers get a goo buildup in the bowl when they sit for a month without use.
