Timing gear install

I have been thinking about installing a new gear drive timing system on my small block. I also want to install the one you can hear when the engine is running. (don't ak me why ).

Anyway, can the new gears be installed without removing the cam? Also, what is a recommended brand to get. All the parts suppliers have tons of different kinds to choose from. As always, my car is just for going to shows and cruise ins and I drive it. I do not do any drag racing so it never see's any high RPM's.

Give me some ideas please.......
