Help needed.

Hi again. I got the 327 running after my re-build. Did about a 30 minute run in on it at 200-2500rpm, and shut er down. My problem is this. I idle fine, but when i go to drive the car, about 1200-2200 rpms (in drive) i get a mis fire. then at about 2200+ it goes away. The plugs are about 1 month old, as are the wires, dit cap and rotor. I checked to make sure all the plug wires were on soild and they were. Right now the timing is set at about 10* advanced. I did have a problem on inital start up with wires going to the coil. It would not spark with the resistor wire, (the cloth coverd wire from the firewall) attached. So right now it isnt attached. The dist is a mallory unilite (i think) with a vacum advance and its not running points. What do you guys think the problem might be? I have not tried advancing the timing more yet. Any ideas would be helpfull.
