Question New Engine best suggestions...

I just got the 383 in my camaro fired up and running and now I have some questons... FOr the initial start up we used a 10w30 conventional oil and let it run for about 20 min. Then it was drained and the synthetic was put in with a new filter... Now I did not do this it was done by a shop.... If it were me I would have used a straight 30 wt oil for the break in and then used a dino oil for the first 500 miles.... So I guess I am looking for suggestions as to the best corse of action... THe engine runs perfectly holds 54 lbs of oil pressure and keeps a constant 180*. So should I drain out the synthetic and put the conventional oil back in??????

You should be fine. A lot of new cars come with synthetic from the factory any more.

Also if thats what the shop did and they built the motor, its on them.
