Miloden low profile pan

I'm installing the Miloden low profile pan on my ZZ502. During trial fit, all but three of the bolt holes on one side towards the rear of the pan line up well enough to get the bolts in staight and start the threads. The back three holes on the oil filter side near the filter mount are off by a bit to the outside. Is there any harm in drilling these out a little larger so I can get the bolts lined up, or do you recommend I send this pan back to Summit for a replacement?

The pan edge also overhangs the oil filter mounting point a bit.

I'm using the stock one piece gasket. Should I be using the Miloden one piece gasket?

Tim

Re: Miloden low profile pan

Somethings goofy with that pan! I'd ship it back to Summit. Mine was right on the money as far as fittment goes. The stock pan gasket will work on that pan. I bought a new gasket from GM just to be safe, since the gasket was already set up for that stupid truck pan they send with it.Can you just imagine how many of those pans are hanging on walls? I could'nt give mine away at the last swap meet! Here are the part numbers I used; Oil pan gasket, GM #10106407 Milodon oil pan #30955 (This is a Jegs#)
