HEI Distributor

I purchased a 350 HO crate engine and can not use the HEI distributor because of clearance issues. I am planning on getting a MSD 8360 Ready-to-run distributor to replace. What should I ask for the HEI distributor? Also, I have my original 327 from my camaro and was plan on keeping it, but I am having second thoughts. What is the value of this engine? It is all original. Just a ballpark guess would be great.

To anyone else, your stock motor is of little value...To you it is priceless. Keep it!

Re: HEI Distributor

Always keep the original engine with the car. Years and years down the road if you decide to sell it...it will make thousands of difference in the price of the car...even if it's not installed in the car.
