Aluminum or cast bell housing

Which is better for my 67 camaro 350 375 hp 4 spd 4.11 gears. aluminum or cast iron bell housing????

I'd say it depends on what you are doing with it. If you really drive it hard, invest in the Lakewood scattershield (P/N 15000 if I remember correctly). If not, just stick with the stock one. That way you don't have to deal with bellhousing alignment and BS like that.

For a scatter sheild I'd go with McLeod's. Deist Safety also makes a blanket for 4-speed applications that's cheap insurance in the mean time.
