Should I get one of these flywheels?
THe block is a 71 454. I have a m21 tranny. Need the flywheel. I see a couple on ebay, is there anything I shoudl be looking for? they all look alittle different but all claim to be 454 flywheels...

Or should I just go with some new aftermarket flywheel?

Try to find an 11", 454 flywheel that has the correct GM part number on it and a big "N" that means it's made out of stronger, Nodular cast-iron. (That is, if you have a big bellhousing AND staggered-bolt starter, otherwise use a 10.5", small bellhousing and straight-bolt starter)..

I don't remember the exact part numbers of both of them, but any GM dealer should be able to give that to you.

Anybody know their part number's??

assuming 11", 168 tooth, staggered bolt starter is what you want, the bottom of your 3 is it. The ad states this is a new part, and the "opening bid" seems kinda pricy, but that should be the correct flywheel for your application.
