Mass Air Fuel Injection

Has anybody ever tried this system. It seem almost to good to be true.

One of the guys on a Cobra forum says its the only way to go. I'm thinking about one for my GT 40. Any feedback is appreciated.

Re: Mass Air Fuel Injection

I bet it works well and it should 3k wow. I could buy alot of gas for that. But you can have a catalist that would be nice. I installed a overdrive trans for around 3k and I am not sorry. Injection would be a big step from stock. If the car isnt a numbers match trailer queen why not. Let us know how you like it.

I would not buy an EFI system that isn't tuneable. I know you can buy a chip or tuner to tune the factory Ford ECU but that is not included in the kit. As we said on the other board it cannot be a perfect tune out of the box. And you have to run the maf sensor which is kinda ugly in the intake tract somewhere.

Re: Mass Air Fuel Injection

Im a hands on type of guy, I like to see somewhat detailed photos of products to get a good idea of what they come with and how they work. Sorry to say that website has none of that, to me the whole site is just a sales pitch and I hate sales pitches. Id like to see photos of the MAF, wiring harness, throttle body and other major components. All they show is engine pics and nothing else, no photos of the system being installed or even close up after installation photos. I would suggest getting an up close look at a car that has the system on it and is running, no one likes to be a quinea(SP) pig.
