Defective Dart "Little M" Blocks

Have 4 Dart Machinery "Little M" blocks that have 2 of the timing cover bolt holes in the left front (drivers side) drilled and tapped right into the water jacket. It's the second and third holes from the pan rails. These are all the same, 400 SB castings with 350 mains and steel caps. Spoke with them today, don't believe it'll solve anything down there however. It looks as though the leading edge of the tap broke through the casting, during the machining process. If the holes are left "as-is" there is a distinct possibility of a coolant leak from those bolts. We spent an hour or so repairing all 4. Thanks, Gary in N.Y.
P.S. I would make an educated guess that even the ones on their other blocks that aren't totally through would probably be very thin at the bottom of the holes. It may only apply to the 400 castings, we don't know at this time. It's a simple repair. Much easier now, while on the engine stands, than later.

Lots of bolts/screws go into water passages on many engines and dont leak, the water pump bolts for instance go into water and Ive never seen them leak as long as a sealer was used on the threads. Hell Ive put them in dry and still have seen minimal seepage.
