Question Re: camaro 2000 v6 spark plugs hard to reach??

I figure that you should be able to come up from the bottom or maybe even from the sides??

bottom would be impossible and sides are close to impossible. it is so hard to figure out, its like you have to pull out the whole damn engine

Re: camaro 2000 v6 spark plugs hard to reach??

We have a '94 with a 3.4 and I had to remove the EGR valve to get to the rear plugs on the pass side. Now if you have a later 3.8 that may be a different story. Beyond that it's just like any other newer car, get in there upside down on your head with every tool you own and you'll eventually get it done.

my 98 Camaro 3.8 car you HAVE to go in from the bottom on the back two plugs, I got it down and can change plugs in about 45 minutes.

I would just buy a good 100,000 mile plug like the newer motors run and go..
