Coil Wire

Does anyone know if MSD makes a coil wire that plugs into a HEI cap (female) and the other end (male) that plugs into the blaster coil?

Re: Coil Wire

Yeah thats true. I have never did that before. Any tips on how it should be done? You need a special crimping tool?

Re: Coil Wire

why do you need a coil wire for HEI which has the coil built into the cap?

Re: Coil Wire

MSD does not have the coil built into the cap, the coil is external.

I recommend picking up the crimp tool. Tony let me borrow his a few weeks back to make a custom set of wires for the '67 and it works slick. It's always nice to make the wires fit and not use a universal set.

Re: Coil Wire

Go to Summitracing.com 1-800-230-3030 .They will know if one is made. Probably wouldn't be too hard to make one or just buy one. MSD makes the set up, so I am sure they sell the correct wires.
