rockers

hey, what are the advantages of roller rockers compared to regular ones?
i just completed a valve cover swap and noticed that my heads were reworked with new valves/springs/rockers from the previous owner.

Less valve train friction. The roller tips don't add lateral load to the guide, which means less friction. The full rollers have less friction rotating.

To me its STRENGTH first, and the advantages of less friction.
Got to love those roller springs and .700+ lift cams.

Your valve guides will see less wear with roller rockers too.

Nov 68 Van Nuys. 327 floor-shift-auto, Frost Green and not much else when new.
