4500 dominator flange compatible with 650 holley?

basically what the title says. is a 4500 dominator flange compatible with a 650 holley carb. or do i need a adapter?

dominator flange is larger. Better to buy the correct carb, or intake.

how much larger? is there enough room for me to drill and tap new holes?

Quite a bit larger. Even if you could drill and tap new holes (which I seriously doubt), the larger pad will foul most/all of the 650's linkages.
Adapter cheapest way out / Correct manifold best way out.

Nov 68 Van Nuys. 327 floor-shift-auto, Frost Green and not much else when new.

I agree you would be better off with a new manifold. If you are using a 650 carb you probably do not need the manifold that accepts a Dominator. Yes, an adapter would be the cheapest way out.

No way you could drill and tap, the 650 will just about fit through the opening for the Dominator.

They make a Dominator "looking" carb that is a 750 but I think its kinda high if you like that look.

The 750 Dominator is a real 4500 Dominator.. That's why it looks like one!

I can't imagine something like a super victor with a 650 on it. With a plenum that big, I can't see how signal at the carb could be remotely close to what you need UNLESS you're running a pair on something like a tunnel ram. Get a victor jr or dual plane with 4150 flange and you and your engine will be a lot happier.
