1980 Small Block 350 Info

A n00b question,

What is a good source for complete engine information (torque specs, timing specs, etc) for a 1980 Chevy SB 350. I am trying to get a small (and useful) library for the garage. Any help is greatly appreciated...

Thanks!
~Dave

Usually a Chilton or Clymer manual for the car/truck/van that the engine came in will give you this info.

Thanks! -- Are shop manuals (or similar manuals) worth the $$?

Re: 1980 Small Block 350 Info

There are also books like "how to rebuild your chevy small block", or any book by David Vizard that are really good. In most, you can look up the block number and it will tell you a rough idea of what year it is, and what it was generally put into; ie: truck, RV, sedan etc. This is handy if you just have then engine and don't know what it came out of initially.
