timing cover 302

is the only difference with a mr gasket timing cover and a factory cover for a 302 just the stamping of the #s.

Could be,if it's just a mild-steel factory type.Just make sure the Mr. Gasket one has the timing pointer in the right place to accomodate the 8" balancer.

It will also make a differnce if it is a '67 or '68 302, since the timing mark on the balancer is in a different location than the '69 302 engine.

Then you should have no problems with the Mr. Gasket piece, as long as it is for the 8" balancer as previously mentioned.
