need help with 82 camaro Berlinetta

ok-im new at this.....I just bought a 82 Camaro Berlinetta(stole it) in great shape--however it had a electronic 2-bbl throttle body on the 305 and I want to put this 4bbl manual Edelbrock on---Problem...I have ports on this new carb for hoses but cant find more than 2 hoses in the car...and im at aloss when it come to changing out this 2bbl electronic back to the 4 bbl--dont know if there's any wiring that I can use on the new carb....im stumped...HELP...PLEASE

Go to the parts store and get the rubber caps you need to plug anything you aren't going to use.

If you got the manual ( choke ) edelbrock, then there are no electonic connections to the carb...You will have some vacuum connections. As deerhunter stated, you will need to place caps on the unused ports ... Don't be surprised if the throttle linkage requires some "fabricating" and you will probably need a drop-base air cleaner to be able to close the hood ...BTW, what kind of intake are you going to use ?

my mistake--not thinking---its a automatic choke on the edelbrock carb----got the caps too--just praying (alot) that I get it hooked up right---lol

what do I hook the vac port on the distributor..to ? Distributor is a ACCEL-High Performance.........HELP
