84 z28/ engine swaps

i put a freshly rebuilt 327 out of a 68 stingray engine in my 84 z, and it made a big differance...my truck was not running right, and i just put the motor in and i had to go to work so i took my camaro and i was on the 405...and this iroc z whent flying by me slowing down to rev his engine at me, then he punched it and was gone,...i didnt have my aircleaner on so when i floored it those secondaries were screaming, so i as i got near his rear end and i heard him floor it again, but i past him no prob. and while in front of him i could still hear his exhaust screaming. but i hit the slow lane at about 120 and he was gone from sight, later on as i slowed down to get on the beach blvd off ramp he reved again, this time he gave me a thumbs up... not bad for a stock 84/z with a stock 327.40 over, 10:1 compression.....too bad my tranny gave up on me........driving home in first gear sucks....
