Holley 4150HP question

I purchased a 4150HP Holley 950 double pumper and there are no vacuum ports. Is this correct? Do you go without vacuum advance or hook up elsewhere?

Re: Holley 4150HP question

These Are Race Oriented Carbs, the Reason You Wont Have Vacuum Ports....downlegged Boosters/no Choke Horn Designed More For Racing Almost Impractable For Street Use.also Its Alot Of Cfm For Street Use Unless You Have A Big Inch Engine. If Your Running A Mild Street Engine It Is Better With Vacuum Advance Distributor And Smaller Cfm.

Re: Holley 4150HP question

Just drill & tap a 1/8"npt hole into the manifold behind the carb base and fit a barb for the advance.

Nov 68 Van Nuys. 327 floor-shift-auto, Frost Green and not much else when new.
