Just in case anyone asks, there's a link to download it. It IS a nice piece of work. Gary spent years tracking down his vibration. I have done likewise, spending about four years now trying to get my car to run smooth.

I just got my engine and tranny both overhauled (five times now on both items), ready to drop back in. But this time I think it's finally gonna be smooth.

Re: Vibration attn: garymac69

great article, I can't wait to get the time to go through this list.....I have a vibratin around 3k and it is not wheels/tires. It shakes in neutral sitting in my driveway....I am leaning toward the flywheel/clutch. I run an electric fan and billit pulleys, I have removed the belt ,2" wide cog, and the vibration is still there. I have it down to: Flywheel/clutch(centerforce), bottom end of the motor(383 Eagle kit, new 3500 miles on it), or harmonic balancer. I have a new flywheel/clutch for it and I am going to get the trans(m21) rebuilt. I have changed the transmount, but not the engine mounts(they are poly units, tall because of the rack and pinion. Do you all think I am on the right path??

Re: Vibration attn: garymac69

I had severe issues with engine balancing. Took three times to get it right.

I also have (had) issues with incorrect crossmember and cheap motor mounts. I'm hoping to have everything in balance and aligned properly this time.
