Intercooler fitment on a '69 RS

I was wondering if anyone has fitted an off-the-shelf intercooler (like the one that ATI productes) that they have used and could recommend.

I'd like something to support 900-1000hp, and the ATI race 3-core is rated for that, but I have no idea what will fit. If someone's been there and done that, it would sure save me ordering, test fitting, and potentially returning.

Thanks!
- Dave

Yes, I sent him an email, but he hasn't responded yet. His was totally custom, which is always an option, but if there's an off-the-shelf piece, all the better.

Never got the e-mail Dave. Mine fits but does not allow the rs doors to open. That is a problem with that front end. I talked to many guys who drive the 69 ES cars at night with decent headlights and closed doors and they all said they see fine, can't even tell the door is closed. So I wasn't worried about it.

I do not know if that ATI will fit, it took some real careful measuring to get the one I had in there along with a lot of help from Ron Davis Radiators.
