Where to buy a correct Holley 4053 carburator?

I just picked a matching numbers 1968 Z28/RS, but the carburator is not original. Any places that sell parts like this? From what I have read, it's a 4053.

If you are set on a correctly date coded ones, check the usual places, ie ebay, hemmings etc.. If you are interested in a service dated carb, I believe I have one. Send me a PM if you are interested. If you want a brand new one, check with any of the big vendors. Shop around, as the prices vary considerably. The new "restoration" carbs have no date codes.

Although some guys sell them as NOS, they are not. They are new stock, not "new old stock".

Try Chicago Carburetor:

They'll have what you're looking for, and can probably date-match your car. I've had good luck with a guy named Bob,..very helpful.

Good luck!

I know the 4053 was used on the '69 302, are you sure it was used in '68 as well? If so the carb is still manufactured by Holley and your local speed shop can order you one if dates are not important.
