I have all the correct brackets for my 68 short style 427. I need your help on routing and what pullys I need. I don't have a/c but I do have power steering.
Do I need a double pully on the crank and or Water pump?
Is there a diagram anywhere on the belt routing?

Could be either depending on your setup. See 68 Assembly Manual UPC 6 Pages A10 & A11 or UPC N40 pages A9 and A10.

I looked at the assembly manual. I don't kow why I didn't think of that! Since I am going to have TH400 and no air pump, it looks like the single groove water pump and the double grove crank pully is what I will need. Thanks for telling me what pages to look on, it would have taken me a long time to find it. I have not found an easy way to find what I am looking for in that manual.

You just have to keep looking, page by page by page. Over time, you'll know it like the back of your hand. Still be carefull, because there's lots of detail and it's not all exactly correct. For intance, many very knowledgeable and respected people on this board say that all 68 BB Camaros came with the "Air" system. As you can see in the AIM on the pages I referenced, it says differently. Why this is so, I have no clue.
