454 moter ,671 blower in a 68 camaro

If this is posted in the wrong place please except my apology and move it or remove it! My good friend has a 454 with a 671 blower we are trying to put together. WE have been working on this car for over a year . Body work is all but done..Now we are working on the engine "mock up". We are running into pully problems and clearance problems..He has Short water pump, ,no clearance for radiaitor . My questions are many, should we use double pulley on the crank, single on the water pump, or an electric water pump. I should mention that he has a "BeCool" radiator and electric puller twin fan set up.He is using a short snout on the blower. what info or advice can you give me to help him out, to get the clearance and correct pullys to run on this set up,alt. and power steering.

Mike, I know what you mean, I had the same problem with that setup.

I ended up using double groove pulleys on both the crank and the water pump. The water pump pulley is actually for a long pump small block.

The alternator bracket is from March, short pump.

What really unlocked the puzzle was the PS bracket from "Bill's", also for short water pump. Found his stuff at a rod shop.

Oh, BTW, I had to use a PS pump with remote reservoir for clearance. I used a full size pump from a HD truck, and a March reservoir.

Thanks Don, Clearance for the raidiator seems to be a problem also. We are a little over our heads right now, I will keep looking for info, talking to people, and looking at other camaro's with blower set up's..any more ideas and pic's from any one would be great!
