Cowl Induction Air Cleaner Spacing

I want to order the correct cowl induction aircleaner so my cowl hood is functional. My 350 has a quadrajet carb and a performer intake - not sure if I need to order the spacer ring for the 350 or for the 302 since the performer is higher than stock but probably not as high as the original intake on the 302. Anyone had any experience with this?

Re: Cowl Induction Air Cleaner Spacing

I had an old Edelbrock Performer SP2P with a Holly 1850 on it, and I used the 302 setup which was just about right. Theres no way the 350 one will fit on anything over stock height. Your only choice is going to be to use the 302 or none, unless you want to cut one down.

Re: Cowl Induction Air Cleaner Spacing

Did we cover this before,,, I am using the cowl air cleaner with out the 1 3/4 spacer ring... on the stock Z manifold and Holley. For some reason there is not enuff room to use this spacer ring between the ac base and sealing hat.

Re: Cowl Induction Air Cleaner Spacing

Is there any difference in height between the Quadrajet and the Holley?
