Correct Alternator Brackets?

Does anybody have a picture of their engine with the correct alternator brackets for 1967? I want to make sure I have the right ones-

My current set-up has a top arm connected to the upper water pump bolt. The lower mount is atached to the front two exhaust bolts, and has a slip joint in the middle which allows the alt to be put in line with the other pulleys.

The mount moves on the exhaust bolts-and they are tight. I have headers, and that might be affecting things. The car has the old double hump heads without accessory holes in the front...

Any thoughts?

Re: Correct Alternator Brackets?

I personally have never liked this mickey mouse alt mount when running headers. Being you dont have accessory holes in heads , you are limited.
You might try a differant approach. I think its Billett products that makes brackets that help solve some of these issues. You can also try Alan Grove products. They have lots of better looking alt mounts than hanging them to the header bolts.
