compression and sound

I am in process of upping my compression from 8.5 to 10.5. Will this make my flomaster 70's louder? Everthing else is staying the same.

Thanks

Re: compression and sound

I'm sure it will change.
I went from 9.5:1 to 10.17:1 and could hear a difference as could 2 buddies hear it also.

Re: compression and sound

Lower compression also makes a cam sound bigger, so your idle will smooth out a little.
