lBecause we change our filters, Right? True, but for others ,, thats why the bypass exists, so the engine does get its lube. There are some rupture holes in the area around the threaded hole,,, I have been told that some are rubber and some are metal... They also are supposed to serve the same purpose? But I have never seen this case. Even on a Ford.
Still waiting on ChuckL to bring us up to date on his findings.
