2013 zl1

I just traded in my 2010 2SS/RS (bought new) for a 2013 ZL1 (Chevrolet certified pre-owned). What a difference! This car is a totally different machine/moster! I thought my SS was fast, the ZL1 is ridiculous. The Sound, the smell, the look, the feel, yes even the taste of this vehicle is nothing less than amazing. Wish I could have purchased it new however the price tag for even a used one is pretty steep! Which brings me to my problem. Anyone out there own a 2013 ZL1, and have the original factory/dealer window sticker? I would like to replace mine to look exactly like the dealer/factory MSRP sticker. My car is Black with Sunroof option, Navigation, and 6 Speed Manual. There is a website that recreates window stickers but before I pay, I want all the options to be listed exactly as they would have been. Want to hang it in my garage hall of fame!
Again if someone could send me a picture of their 2013 factory/dealer MRSP window sticker with all the options it would be much apprenticed.

Re: 2013 zl1

I doubt you want my opinion on a fake window sticker, even for a 2013 model.

Re: 2013 zl1

I was able to get a replacment window sticker for my 2012 SS from the dealer. Didn't cost me anything. It's an exact copy of the original with all of the options listed and even has the adhesive backing. The original sticker was damaged when I picked up my car so I asked if there was any way to get me a new one. My wife works at the dealer and said the get replacment window stickers from time to time if they are damaged or for demos when they are sold. I can see if it's possible to have them get one for your car if you'd like. I'm sure if they could the dealer you bought it from can too.

Q: How do I get a replacement window sticker?

A: If your vehicle is the current model year or from the previous model year, you may obtain a replacement window sticker or invoice from your original selling dealership (Dealer Locator). If your vehicle is NOT a current model year or the previous model year, a duplicate window sticker is NOT available. However, Triple A Enterprises can provide window stickers (for a fee) going back to 1959 for most passenger cars only, with the exception of 1981 to current model Corvettes and all Cadillac models other than the Allante (window stickers are available for the Allante).

Re: 2013 zl1

I may have 2 zl1 window stickers laying around here somewhere, i will try to dig them up. Also if you want some extra hp, and really wanna hear that supercharger whine to let people know you are about to blow by them, you may want to check into http://www.roto-fab.com/

The dyno pulls on youtube post some serious gains at the tires. It increased the hp on mine by 32 to the tires. I wouldn't believe it had it not done it. Plus, it gets rid of the factory silencer on the air-box, which chokes the crap out it. Then if you really wanna get silly, you can change the pulley, they are about $160, and you will want to change the pulley isolator before it ruins your supercharger. Do some research on it, after about 6k miles you will start hearing a ticking sound in the engine, and upon teardown of the supercharger you will see that the isolator from the factory has a spring in it that goes around the shaft and carves into it. Very terrible design. The 2.5 inch pulley upgrade yields around 100 more hp without having to dip into the computer. Takes about 5 hrs to change. If you want to get fancy, lingenfelter sells a pulley that replaces the factory one, and makes it possible to change the pulleys externally vs internally after the first swap. Not trying to sell you on anything, but i can go for days about this car. You do know about race mode 5 no lift shift and rev matching launch control???? Its fun, and covered under the factory warranty oddly enough. Just some of the creature comforts of this beast.
