Crane distributors?

Can any one give me any feed back on these Crane electronic distributors? Good , bad ???? The concept sounds good...but does it work?

Thumbs up Re: Crane distributors?

Jim:
The only 'good' thing I really know about them is that friends that build Go-Fast-Turn-Left stuff down south for the Good 'ol Boy guys use them in many of the engines.
Be aware that you may need a specific coil for their distributors. I did hear about a conversion that wouldn't run well because the older CD type coil wouldn't fire correctly. Something to do with using a modern dual-saturation type coil.

Hopefully others can fill in;

If a man says something in the garage - and his wife can't hear him - is he still wrong !!!
