Re: New wiper switch, not working

I don't know if Painless tells you which terminal is which on that switch, but the OE wires would be as follows:

Black - wiper high speed
Lt blue - wiper low speed
Dk blue - washer

Re: New wiper switch, not working

If you have a battery charger (or just run a long wire from battery) you can hook up at the wiper motor like the diagram in this thread to test that all on that side is good.

Re: New wiper switch, not working

If you bought the OER brand switch then good luck. I went through 2 of them, both did not work. The third time I took my car to classics and told them I was going to try it out in the parking lot, because I was tired (fearful) of telling the wife I was going to classics again the next weekend. When I say classics in huntington, she equates that to money being spent on the Girl friend born in 69, the other love in my life.

So yeah, those new OER switches aint the best, or I got hold of a few lousy ones.

Re: New wiper switch, not working

remember, that circuit works by switching the ground. If the shell of the switch isn't grounded, the wipers will not work.
