Cool 1969 Camaro Headlight's

I just installed all wires from another 1969 camaro.( My camaro did not come with any wires). When I pull the headlight switch the parking lights come on but not the headlights I also noticed that the dash lights are not on , When I step on the high beam switch the headlights come on & the dash lights come on. Also i bought a new brake light switch but the brake lights do not come on when i step on the brakes. One note I bought a new headlight switch also, It is not grounded. But I know it needs to be, I cleaned a spot on some metal and put the switch against it it made no difference, one other thing I do not have the front turn /signal lights hooked up yet. Where do I start looking?

Re: 1969 Camaro Headlight's

Your headlamps are not getting a good enough ground. You need an 8 gauge pigtail running from your negative on your battery to your passenger fender.
