wire harness repair / upgrade

Does anybody know if there is a company that will repair and /or be able to add wiring for options to the original harness. I thought I saw a post about this a while back but did a search and can't locate it. Thanks!

Re: wire harness repair / upgrade

I don't know of anyone that repairs harnesses, other than me, and I only do my own. It's not too tough, they sell the no stick tape in the repro houses. Be sure you map where each wire leaves the bundle (inches from the forewall connector is good) before you unwrap it. Clean it, replace any bad wires and terminals, clean the rest of the terminals, tape it back up, good as new.

You also might check into American Autowire's Classic Update harnesses.

AAW will repair original harnesses, but at their discretion. You could send it to them and they could say no they won;t fix it. As far as adding options, it depends on what you are wanting to add.
