Brake and reverse light cover replacement

I have a 68 with the red and white lens covers. I have purchased new lens' but not sure what is involved in actually replacing the old one with the new ones. I know many have done this, Is there any suggestions / tricks to help me out? Seems to be pretty straight forward but have never done this before.

Re: Brake and reverse light cover replacement

It's as straight foward as it appears. Remove the lamp assembly, remove the small screws replace the lenses, and put it back together. Might be a good time to replace the inner gasket and the lamp to boby gasket.
