starter

I just got down wiring up my starter and when i turn the key to start the car my starter just keep on spinning when it is turn just to the on swith and want stop till i turn the key all the way off what could be the problem? any help would be great

Hmmm, perhaps you got the crank wire (purple) on the 'R' terminal (outside) instead of the 'S' terminal (inside - closest to the block)?
