Power seat hook up...

I just got a seat of seats for my '94 fullsize blazer and they came out of a '96 suburban...the driver is full power. There are a million wires, but at the end of the plug, there is 1 small orange, 1 large orange, and 1 black.

I hooked the blk to ground, and the others, the 2 orange 2gether, connected to battery and seat seemed to move OK, but the forward and back action move good without weight, once I sit in the seat, it dont go no where...im big, but not that big!

I took the motors apart, but they look new! Nothing burnt that I can see...There was this silver box under the seat that pluged into the seat & had about 7 wires comming out of it.
What the heck is that box??? And what does it do!

It works without the box hooked up, could this box have some effect on the seat?

Hope you can help, as im going to the junk yard 2morrow and see if i can get another power seat track.

'69 camaro, was orig SS 396 car.
