I want to replace my steering column switch (horn, blinkers, hazards) but i do not know where to start...is there a walkthrough on how to disassemble the steering column to replace this switch?

Usually a quick "Search" of the site will give you a bunch of great posts with the information to get you through a project - if you run into trouble or need more then just ask in a new post.
Here is a small sampling of info from a quick search for '69 ignition switch' -

Hope this helps

Re: Replaceing the steering column switch...

What year Camaro? Tilt column or standard (non-adjustable)?
Replacing the turn signal switch isn't all that bad.
Go to www.corvettefaq.com
Click on Jim Shea's Steering Articles
Click on A & F-Car Steering Papers
Scroll down to either the tilt column or the standard column sections.

Re: Replaceing the steering column switch...

Remove horn...screws at the back
Remove steering nut
remover steering whelel USE A PULLER
To watch for...
note the location of the steering wheel...look at the splines..goes on 1 way only
Note where the and which way the horn indicator switches are located...even take a few dig pcs before dismantling
lay everything out in order as u dismantle.

Note following these notes ...the odds are u will end up messing around when reassembling.

My Spelling is not incorrect...it is creative
