01 Camaro RS - interior Lights out fuses replaced now not blown

Last night driving my 01 camaro i signaled to switch lanes then once in the lane turned off the turn signal at that same instant all of the Dash back lights went out, upon further investigation so did the small lights illumanating the window controls on the door as well as the backlight for the gear select as well as the glove box light.

I checked all of the fuses and replaced any that were blown
one was 5 A "IP Dimmer" and another was 20 or 25 (memory) A Tail LPS i believe the fuses have not blown again, however the lights still do not work. Looking for which fuse these interior lights are connected to as well as perhaps a troubleshooting flow chart.

edit: Looking around it seems as the lights are all with the IP dimmer fuse Also everything else is working except these lights, SGS switch works which was also labeled as being tied into this fuse, as well as the back defroster works and its associated orange light. when turning on the insturment lights the LED odometer does dim itself as it should.

Thanks in advance
Ryan

EDIT2: Found some stuff by Jimm

The instrument lamps circuit includes the headlight switch itself, and the "dimmer" rheostat in the headlight switch. From there, it goes to the LPS fuse in the fuseblock. This is a 4 amp fuse. From there it goes to the lamps themselves.

Since you are blowing the 20 amp tail light fuse, NOT the 4 amp LPS fuse, your problem must be in the headlight switch itself. There's a few other things it could be, but not very likely.

So in my case I blew both the 20 amp and the 5 amp fuses

Re: 01 Camaro RS - interior Lights out fuses replaced now not blown

I kinda had the same problem in my 97 SS. It only happened when I had the interior lights (Dash) on bright. I didn't feel like changing the sw so I just had to turn them down a little and never had another issue.

Re: 01 Camaro RS - interior Lights out fuses replaced now not blown

Sorry, what I meant was when I had my dash lights on high, I would blow the fuse.
