68 RS With 67 Gauges

My friend has a 68 RS he picked up last year. It came with a mish-mash of equipment, part of which (he just discovered) was 67 gauges. He just picked up an OER wiring harness for a 68/69 RS and, after he installed it he discovered that the gauges didn't work. He just called me up to see if I would sell him my gauges and pod so he could finish his. I don't mind letting go of what I have but, if there's a way he can use what he has to make it work it would be better for both of us.

Is there a way he can use what he has without to much modification o would he be better off just using the correct gauges?

Re: 68 RS With 67 Gauges

I ran the 67 Camaro tach and gauges in a 68 Firebird some years back. Some of the pins in the harness connectors are in a different location between 67-68. I built my own harness from used ones I had around using the diagrams I have on my web page.
