Anyone ever use a Delco Battery topper?

Anyone one ever use a Delco battery topper? This lets you use a maintenance free battery with the look of a 1969 Delco battery. Check it out.

I'm thinking about trying one. Any comments?

Thumbs up Re: Anyone ever use a Delco Battery topper?

I've seen a lot of them at shows and swaps - never heard of any problems with them.
Early ones were not quite correct lettering and only one cap color. Newer ones look better and come in several colors.
The "Delco Eye" used to look a little 'funny' compaired to a real one - photos from site don't look bad now.

I might consider one - if I didn't use side terminals now ...

If a man says something in the garage - and his wife can't hear him - is he still wrong !!!

I have one, I quite like it. I thought a modern battery might stand out in the engine compartment and look out of place, the topper lets me use a modern battery yet retain the "vintage" look. Perhaps buying stuff like this is why the car still isn't done....
