hey guys I am lost

hey guys I just installed a painless wiring harness in my ride (1968 camaro) and everything was going smooth got it all put together and realized I forgot to install a ground for the dome light, so wired that up and pu everything back now I have no gauge lights or rear running lights, i have headlights and turn signals and brake lights but when I pull the switch to turn on the light only the headlights come on i am totally lost because before I forgot to hook up the domelight everything worked just fine now, if you guys can think of anything that would be great, because I am pulling my hair out thanks guys!!

Re: hey guys I am lost

Ground for the dome light???

The dome light doesn't get a ground.

There should be 2 wires. Orange is 12 volt power all the time, from the CLK-CTY-LTR fuse, to one side of the dome light.

White wire goes to the pin switches in the doors (and the headlight switch), and provides a ground when you open the door or twist the headlight switch.

Power on one side, ground on the other, the light lights up.
