vacuum lockout on MSD 8360 HOW TO

How can I lock down vacuum advance on MSD 8360 without removing the vac can?
I have the vac can disconected on BB 396 now (it runs good that way) but would like to make sure it does not move.

I've been called simple before, but....
can't you just not hook up the vacuum line? The diaphragm shouldn't move unless connected to a vacuum source right?

it shouldn't move just by being disconnected. you can remove the can pretty easily, too, if you wanted to.

There are instructions on the MSD website if you end up wanting to remove it:
