help NOW please

Iam stuck on road right now 11:51am sat 11-1+08 usina internet on phone
i pressed cig lighter,lost all power in my 69 fusible link??
cant find fusible link ..pls post or call

thanks ifound it on horn relay

Can you "jury rig" it and get going? Make sure you pull out the lighter.

Sorry for not replying, but yes i did get it fixed. Im not sure why i went brain dead, i knew the link was at the horn relay. I had called a freind who got me some fusible link wire, i was only a few miles from his house.

Thanks for the concern. And yes I pulled the cig lighter wire off the back for now lol..

I had a lighter just fall in while I was driving. All I could do was smell burnt plastic wondering where it was coming from. It was a old socket but new filament. So now I never plug in the lighter. It just lays in the ash tray.

Luckily it didnt do it when the car was parked.

Glad you got it. I'm originally from the Crown Point area.
My sister lives in Cedar Lake and my dad lives in St. John now.
