Hidden Antenna?

Have any of you all tried one of those hidden antennae they sell? There is one at Classic Ind. for about $80.00 and some other places like JC Whitney have other types for around $25.00. It would be nice to "shave" the old antenna, but I would like an antenna that would work as well or better than factory. Thanks in advance for the help!

Re: Hidden Antenna?

I have one in my car, not quite hidden because it's sits on top of my rear deck shelf, but I am sure it woudl work fine hidden in my trunk.

So he answer is yes, it works well. Came with my concourse brand stereo.

Re: Hidden Antenna?

I have one in my camaro under the dash. It works semi OK but it is probably the cheaper one. I really cant remember what brand because it was 10 years ago. I mostly listen to CD's.
