Talking Good News

Good news today! I got my wireing harness from AAW today. I have to say that when I opened the box I was a little intimidated but once I started reading some of the instructions I felt a little better.

Now the question is, do I install teh harness now or wait a few (up to 6) months until I have the body work done and painted?

Does anyone have any tips or trick for the install?

Re: Good News

It all depends on what kind of body work you'll need, if you're going to be installing new floor pans, trunk floor and rear panel then wait till it's finished.....If not, then go ahead and do it now.....All the wiring was out of my car when I purchased it, I completely rewired my 68 coupe with the 18 circuit Painless wiring kit, it wasn't that hard, I done the interior first then the rear of the car then under the hood and the front of the car.....I think it took like a couple days and everything worked perfect!

Re: Good News

The body work will be part of the trunck, the front fenders and fender wells and part of teh drivers floor. I was thinking of just telling the body shop to not put the interior back in the car and tow the car home and finish the wiring and interior in the garage. Might cut off some of the cost of the body/paint work as well.
