American Autowire Classic Update kit. It is a complete kit specific vehicle designed to allow for modern upgrades and uses a blade style fuse box. We use them and have sold many of them to board members here.

Search "painless" here, and you'll see plenty of opinions. From what I've read, the directions are lousy, you need to reuse OE terminals, and the tech support is not great. AAW Classic Update is definitely superior, and not a lot more money. If you advance search with "update" and my username, I have done some writeups on the install. Very easy, and lots of extra circuits like you're wanting. Top notch tech support too, and you can buy from one of their vendors (like Mike above) and get a great price.

Re: What is the best harness for my car?

I rewired my Pro Street with all AAW wiring harnesses. Others here have used Painless Performance harnesses and kits and also have good things to say about them as well. Best of luck with the rewire no matter which manufacturer you choose. Badbird used a Painless Performance kit on his car, you could PM him.

Re: What is the best harness for my car?

look over in the body shop section - big thread titled '68 rises from the ashes'- some detail on the harness he will be using including details. I don't recall the name but the price was right and I think when you see the work you will agree he knows his stuff.
