Alternator wires

I have the stock alternator in a 68 Camaro that had a 327. Somehow the clip that holds 2 wires and plugs into the rear of the alternator got broke and the end is gone off one wire. Can anyone tell me which wire goes on which of the 2 terminals?

Re: Alternator wires

This is for a 69. I think 68 would be the same orientation.

Driving a #s-matching Z in the rain..... and lovin' it....

Re: Alternator wires

Thank you. My wires ended up getting painted black but I will scrape off enough to get the colors and should be good to go. I know a place to get a plastic plug so a little solder and I should be back in business.
